info About this venue
The Olde House in Chapel Amble, near Wadebridge, offers one outdoor padel court within its family-run holiday-cottage complex at Penpont Farm. Added in 2025 beside the tennis court, it brings a game of padel into a Cornish self-catering break rather than operating as a separate public pay-and-play club. Staying guests book through the site's dedicated app, and rackets and balls are available to borrow, with the padel page directing players to reception.
Use of the padel court is included among the facilities covered by cottage rental. Visitors who are not staying must obtain agreement in advance and pay any applicable guest fees; they should not arrive expecting unrestricted access. The wider resort has an indoor pool and spa, a games lounge, a farm shop, tennis and electric-car charging. Reception is open Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00, and closed on Sundays; court times are arranged separately through the guest booking system.
