David Lloyd Manchester Trafford City

David Lloyd Manchester Trafford City offers at least three outdoor padel courts at its Barton Embankment club in Manchester. Padel is part of a wider health and racquets club, not a standalone public pay-and-play venue. The club specifies Platinum membership for padel access, with courts booked through the David Lloyd Clubs app. Players should check that their membership includes the required access before arranging a game.

The padel programme includes classes and social club sessions grouped by experience level, alongside friendly competitions, weekly matchplay and sociable events. Rackets can be borrowed from reception and balls are available to buy, which is useful for members trying the sport without their own equipment. The wider Platinum offer also includes the gym, pool, exercise classes and spa. After a match, the Clubroom provides a place for food, drinks or a relaxed catch-up within the club. Free on-site car parking and secure bicycle parking are available at this Barton Embankment branch.
